People attending Christmas parties across the North of England are being encouraged to share quick-reference guides to ‘last trains home’ with their fellow partygoers.
Produced by Northern, the handy graphics highlight its last services from its hubs at Hull, Leeds, Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Oxford Road, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria, Newcastle and Sheffield stations.
The guides are also useful for anyone heading into the city centre for some last minute Christmas shopping.
Tricia Williams, chief operating officer at Northern, said: “This is definitely one for the Christmas party Whatsapp group.
“It’s very easy to lose track of time and our hope is that with these quick-reference guides people can always have the essential ‘last train home’ information easily to hand.

Yesterday (Sunday 10 December), rail timetables across the North of England changed in line with the rest of the National Rail network.
Customers are encouraged to use the ‘Check My Timetable’ feature on the Northern website for more information about their local station.
